The Stanley C. Israel Regional Award recognizes individuals and/or institutions who have advanced diversity in the chemical sciences and significantly stimulated or fostered activities that promote inclusiveness within the region.

The E. Ann Nalley Regional Award recognizes the volunteer efforts of individuals who have served the American Chemical Society, contributing significantly to the goals and objectives of the Society through their regional activities.

Rochester Section Recognition and Awards
The Rochester Local Section will also present their recognition and awards at the NERM 2022 Awards Dinner on October 3, 2022.
50-60-70 Year Anniversary Members
Our 50, 60, and 70 Year Anniversaries Members will be recognized with certificates. Their names will be posted on the Rochester Section website after August 1, 2022.

Volunteerism Award
The Rochester Section Volunteerism Award recognizes significant volunteer efforts of individuals who have served the Rochester Local Section of the American Chemical Society, contributing significantly to the goals and objectives of the Society through their Local Activities.
High School Chemistry Teacher of the Year
The purpose of this award is to recognize local chemistry teachers for their dedication to their students, their colleagues, and professional development in their field.
Rochester Section Special Recognition Award
Special Recognition Award is an outreach program that gives the Rochester Section an opportunity to underscore the accomplishments and achievements of our volunteers who have contributed to the success of our events. Through these events, the Rochester Section brings a greater public awareness of Chemistry to the Rochester Region.
Entrepreneur Award
The Entrepreneur Award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who have created a commercially viable business within the chemical enterprise. The hallmark of this contribution is impact: positive impact on people’s lives and positive impact on the economy by creating chemistry jobs that produce a significant impact on the local economy (specifically within the 6 county jurisdiction of the Rochester Local Section).
