Introducing! Dave McCamant

Dr. McCamant received his BA from Wesleyan University in 1995 and then worked at Kodak and Great Western Malt Co. prior to starting graduate school at UC Berkeley.  He received his PhD in 2004 working with Prof. Rich Mathies to develop femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy and then did a postdoc with Prof. Mike Wasielewski at Northwestern studying excited-state electron transfer reactions.  Now, at the University of Rochester, the McCamant lab uses laser techniques to study the energy and electron transfer events important for solar fuel production. Dave is excited about building connections between academics and industry at NERM2020 with a strong program that draws all kinds of students and professionals together.

Look for our Committee members when you come to NERM 2022.
